Workshops
Workshops are offered in the cyber-physical laboratories in Chemnitz and Dortmund to support companies in the automotive and mobility sector in developing and designing innovative system solutions and implementing and launching them in the form of prototypes.
The various workshops are briefly presented below.
The circular economy made tangible: the basic workshop
In this workshop, participants with little or no prior knowledge will learn the basics of the circular economy. At the physical component table, the R-strategies and entry options into the circular economy will be discussed. The demonstrator will be used to analyse usage data of a vehicle in order to make statements about the durability of the installed fuel cell. As an outlook, the simulation developed in the DIONA project will be presented, which allows insights into the effects of various circularity parameters and illustrates the possible applications of simulation.
Value creation in the circular economy: business processes and digital technologies
This workshop highlights the importance of business processes in the circular economy and shows how they contribute to sustainable value creation. In the first part, the connection between business processes and the circular economy is explained, while in the second part an explorative method for process design is presented and applied in practice. The aim is to provide participants with practical approaches for optimising processes in line with the circular economy.
Valuable cycles: designing business models for the circular economy
This workshop teaches the basics of business models and the influence of the circular economy on them. In the first part, the central elements of a business model and their significance for corporate strategy are explained. In addition, circular strategies are described and shown how they can be implemented. In the second part, participants are familiarised with a practice-oriented method for developing innovative business models and apply this directly. The aim is to provide participants with practical approaches for designing sustainable business models.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops ten days before the start of the event if there is insufficient demand. The minimum number of participants is five.
