The aim of the AutoPilot research project is to develop a holistic concept for recyclable equipment: from standardized development and integration into a versatile production cell through to reuse and further use. To this end, a digital exchange platform is to be created between production and suppliers of operating resources, which will be used to establish a corresponding " Equipment-as-a-Service" business model.
