The development of a uniform data model and data exchange format in the form of an integral digital twin technology to optimize the ecological and social sustainability of production is the aim of the DiNaPro research project - model-based digitalization of sustainable production networks along the product life cycle. The application should be as versatile as possible and guarantee universal applicability. For this purpose, the data model is enriched with data from all product life cycle phases. It is available to users in the form of assistance systems, including for design, value stream design and CO₂ monitoring. These assistance systems are implemented and validated in TU Darmstadt's learning factories and in the production facilities of industrial partners. In addition, the digital twin technology developed will be integrated into the platforms of the digitalization partners and the result will be a data model suitable for industrial use.
